Class IIA Medical Device. Single use.
Treatment useful for the maintenance and control of the physiological environment of the cervico-vaginal mucosa, to be used in all cases of temporary alteration of the vaginal microbial balance.
Indicated as an adjuvant for maintaining the physiological environment of the cervico-vaginal mucosa, it is useful for the prevention and treatment of cervico-vaginal infections and alterations that may arise during pregnancy and which may cause premature rupture of the membranes, PROM, shortening of the uterine cervix, and for the prevention of preterm birth.
It may be useful:
- as an adjuvant in the prevention of spontaneous abortion and preterm birth;
- as an adjuvant in the prevention of the increased risk of miscarriage associated with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling;
- as an adjuvant treatment useful in the prevention of preterm birth in the presence of reduced cervicometry or not corresponding to the gestational period;
- as an adjuvant in the prevention and treatment of female infertility.
How to use
After carefully washing your hands, remove a single tablet from the blister. Gently insert the tablet into the vagina, as deeply as possible. To facilitate the introduction of the vaginal tablet, it is suggested to lie in a supine position, with legs slightly bent. Treatment should be started and concluded appropriately in the intermenstrual period or according to different medical indications.
Components
Lactoferrin, Microcrystalline cellulose, Mannitol, Croscarmellose carboxymethylcellulose, Vegetable magnesium stearate, HPMC, Glycerol, Silicon dioxide.
Warnings
Single use; do not reuse. The product is for vaginal use. Do not ingest. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility to any component of the product. The tests carried out on the product to date have not shown any sensitization phenomena or other side effects. In case of persistent discomfort, consult your doctor. May contain lactose. There are no studies available relating to the use of the vaginal tablet in association with local pharmacological therapies. The product is not intended for pediatric use. Treatment should be appropriately started and concluded in the intermenstrual period or according to different medical indications. The maximum duration of continuous treatment is 30 days. Prolonged use of the product, as with all topical products, may give rise to sensitization phenomena or local irritation. If this occurs, stop treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use the product if the package is damaged or not perfectly intact when first opened. Use the product in accordance with the instructions for use. Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
