Description
VULNAMIN CREAM
Cream that helps in healing processes.
Vulnamin is a cream of non-animal origin that can be used as an adjuvant to facilitate the healing of wounds that cannot be treated with sutures and that have damaged the dermis, such as chronic ulcerative wounds and bedsores. It facilitates faster tissue regeneration and maintains ideal humidity conditions to promote re-epithelialization of skin lesions.
Vulnamin is an invasive medical device manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD; it is intended to assist the process of cellular reintegration to promote rapid wound healing. Thanks to its action, it promotes the reconstruction of connective tissue and the consequent regeneration of epithelial cells.
Unlike many astringent substances that cause vasoconstriction, soaps that can generally cause edema or dehydration, or rubbing with alcohol that can cause damage by removing fats from the skin tissue, making the skin drier and more prone to cracking, Vulnamin cream promotes the elimination of necrotic tissue, protects the integrity of the skin. Keep the lesion under continuous observation. The interval between dressing changes depends essentially on the state of the wound. Initially, daily changes may be necessary. After a few days, the interval between dressing changes can be extended up to a maximum of 3 days.
How to use
Apply a layer of cream commensurate with the extent of the wound. On the ulcerative fact perform the dressing with a variable frequency based on the extent of the wound and the speed of absorption of Vulnamin.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCI.
Excipients.
Purified water, cetylstearyl alcohol, copolymer of acrylic acid and vinyl ester, cetylstearyl alcohol, potassium cetyl phosphate, imidazolidinyl urea, phenoxy ethanol - parabens, sodium hydroxide.
Warnings
Before applying any dressing, wash your hands thoroughly. Remove any foreign material with saline solution, spraying from the inside of the wound outwards. After cleaning the area, you can dab the wound with sterile gauze to remove any excess blood. If the injury is not such as to require further intervention, after cleaning the wound, apply Vulnamin to promote the healing process.
Known hypersensitivity to the components. No overdose phenomena are known. No interactions with drugs and medicinal substances are known. Vulnamin is a product characterized by high tolerability, however local reactions may rarely occur, due to hypersensitivity phenomena, destined to resolve spontaneously. It is however recommended to consult the doctor in case of concurrent pharmacological treatments and/or for prolonged use beyond 6 weeks.
Although there are no known side effects in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to carry out the application only according to the doctor's judgment.
Do not use if package is opened or damaged.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not sterilize.
External use.
