Blephagel
Sterile hypoallergenic gel for daily hygiene of eyelids and eyelashes.
Eyelid hygiene is recommended by ophthalmologists in the following conditions:
- Blepharitis (anterior and posterior), inflammation of the eyelids.
- Dry eye associated with dysfunction of the meibomian gland, glands located inside the eyelids.
- Damage to the eye and eyelid due to acne rosacea, a facial skin disease with redness.
- Damage to the eye and eyelid due to seborrheic dermatitis, a facial skin disease with redness and scaling.
Eyelid hygiene may also be recommended in case of surgery, when meticulous cleaning of the eyelash roots and eyelids is necessary.
BLEPHAGEL can be recommended to contact lens wearers.
Formulated for easy and mechanical cleansing of sensitive and/or atopic-prone, irritated and/or damaged eyelids.
BLEPHAGEL original formula:
- Helps the product adhere to the eyelids.
- Thanks to Poloxamer 188 it emulsifies, soluble and delicately eliminates mucous secretions from the eyelids (mucus, crusts and scales at the root of the eyelashes).
- Respects the natural hydration of the eyelid.
- Refreshes, softens and soothes the eyelids.
- It leaves no residue, is not oily and is not sticky.
Precautions for use
- Product intended to be applied to the eyelids and eyelashes, do not apply in the eyes.
- Do not keep the tube open for more than 8 weeks.
- Do not cut the tube (risk of bacterial contamination).
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Frequency of use
Apply BLEPHAGEL on average twice a day, morning and evening, or whenever it is necessary to clean the eyelids.
Instructions for use
For first use, place the pump down and activate the pump by pressing the button several times. Do not crush the tube.
Place a small amount of BLEPHAGEL on a gauze pad by pressing on the pump at the end of the tube. Remove any remaining gel at the tip with the gauze pad.
In front of a mirror, with your eye closed, gently place the gauze on your eyelids and the roots of your eyelashes.
Gently and repeatedly rub the eyelids and the roots of the eyelashes with the gauze impregnated with BLEPHAGEL, using small circular movements until all residues are removed.
Remove any remaining BLEPHAGEL from the eyelid with a clean gauze.
Repeat these 4 steps for the other eye using a new gauze.
