Useful for resolving complications in infant breastfeeding. For children with difficulty breastfeeding, especially in cases of cleft lip/palate, weakness, Down syndrome or other neurological difficulties.
Characteristics
Class IIa medical device.
The teat has a slotted valve that allows for flow regulation.
The three lines on the side of the teat indicate three different flows: short line minimum flow, medium line medium flow and long line maximum flow.
Sensitive to even the weakest sucking movements, the one-way valve prevents baby from taking in air and allows him to swallow slowly.

All Medela breastfeeding aids and the materials used for their packaging are latex-free, bisphenol-A-free, phthalate-free. All parts that may come into contact with breast milk comply with the directives and regulations concerning food containers.
Cleaning and sterilization
The components of the Feeding Bottle are all removable, washable and sterilizable.
-Washing: in hot soapy water. The components are also dishwasher safe.
-Sterilization at home: boil the components for 3-5 minutes.
-Sterilization in hospital: in autoclave at 134°C for 3 min or at 125°C for 15 min.
