Food supplement based on dry extract of Boswellia Serrata resin titrated at 90% in boswellic acids.
Property
Boswellia is a genus of plants belonging to the Burseraceae family. The resin that exudes from the bark of this plant is made up of polysaccharides and boswellic acids. Boswellic acids exert a selective inhibition on an enzyme capable of stimulating the production of endogenous substances that facilitate inflammatory processes, with consequent reduction of their levels in the blood. Boswellia is used as an anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic remedy and is useful in the treatment of soft tissue rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, or in all those cases in which there is an ongoing inflammatory process.
