Description
Calcium citrate, magnesium, potassium bicarbonate and vitamin D3 supplement. Calcium and vitamin D3 contribute to bone health.
Ingredients
Unit A: Calcium Citrate, Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
Unit B: Magnesium Citrate, Potassium Citrate.
Gluten free.
Nutritional characteristics
How to use
Pour the contents of one sachet into a full glass of water, stir and take immediately. It is recommended to take 1 sachet A in the morning and 1 sachet B in the evening before going to bed.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
Contraindicated in patients with hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
Concomitant administration of ALKALOS and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) may cause hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor the progress of potassium levels.
No interactions with other drugs are known.
Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances may develop such as: abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea. The tablet form may be particularly suitable for these subjects.
Conservation
Best before date from production date, in intact packaging: 24 months.
