Description
Iperilla aerosol is a medical device for inhalation use consisting of a hypertonic solution based on dry plant extracts of Melissa officinalis, Perilla frutescens and Thyme wild in combination with hyaluronic acid.
Iperilla aerosol is indicated to counteract the symptoms resulting from alterations in the trophism of the respiratory epithelium such as cough, rhinorrhea, pain typical of flu syndromes but also linked to external allergens. These conditions are based on a reduction in normal mucosal hydration and a consequent reduction in mucociliary clearance. This causes a vicious cycle that can lead to obstruction of the airways and susceptibility to viral and bacterial infections. Therefore, the nebulization of hydrating substances, such as hyaluronic acid, is the correct therapeutic approach that restores the level of hydration, giving relief to the irritated mucosa. The correct hypertonia of the solution also contributes to hydration: this allows the fluidification and removal of mucus. The selected plant extracts have an antioxidant and soothing action, contributing to the restoration of the physiological balance of the respiratory mucosa.
The nebulization of Iperilla aerosol is also optimal for cleaning the nasal cavity and upper respiratory tract. Iperilla aerosol is a sterile solution, without preservatives and ready to use.
Ingredients
Dry extract of Melissa officinalis (titrated in rosmarinic acid ≥ 12%), dry extract of Perilla frutescens (titrated in polyphenols ≥ 2.5%), dry extract of Thymus serpyllum, hyaluronic acid, sodium chloride, monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, maltodextrin, anhydrous colloidal silica, purified water qs to 100 ml.
How to use
Spray a 3 ml vial once or twice a day or as prescribed by your doctor, without diluting it. The product can be used with all types of aerosol devices (piston, ultrasonic).
Ready to use solution, do not dilute.
The solution is disposable.
Blow your nose before use.
Bend the single-dose container in both directions and detach it from the strip of 5 containers to which it is welded.
Shake the single-dose container lightly before use.
Twist and break the container cap.
Apply moderate pressure to the walls of the single-dose container, dispense the solution according to the indicated quantity and insert it into the nebulizer bottle (aerosol device).
The product can be used with both piston and ultrasonic aerosol devices.
When using the aerosol, breathe regularly, lasting approximately 5-6 minutes.
Do not use any residue left in the vial and/or in the nebulizer bottle after use.
Warnings
The product is for inhalation use only, do not ingest or use otherwise than as directed.
Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact.
Consult your doctor for use in pediatric age and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Do not use in children under 2 years of age, as in this age group the physiological characteristics of the respiratory tract lead to a limited capacity for bronchial mucus drainage.
Before using the device, it is advisable to thoroughly clean your hands.
When placing the container into the ampoule, do not touch any other surfaces with the dispensing end of the container.
Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even just one component of the formulation.
In case of symptoms such as bronchospasm, cough or any perception of irritation during use, immediately stop treatment and consult your doctor.
The administration of inhaled drugs must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use the product after the expiry date on the package.
Once opened, pour out the contents immediately and do not reuse any residual contents.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25 C.
Store unused vials in the carton.
In case of any complaint or serious incident occurring in relation to the device, it is necessary to report the incident to the manufacturer.
Conservation
Do not store above 25C.
Validity for intact package: 36 months.
