Description
Infrared forehead thermometer to measure the child's fever by contact.
Simple and intuitive, it allows you to detect the temperature with a simple gesture, moving the thermometer from temple to temple.

How to use
Please note that there should be no sweat or cosmetics on the forehead and that medication and skin irritation may affect the result when measuring temperature on the forehead.
1. Press the Power/Measurement button for 1 second to turn on the thermometer. After a successful measurement, the device will beep.
2. Initially, all symbols are displayed on the display. The last measured temperature will be displayed.
3. Press and hold the "Power/Measure" button and move the thermometer across your forehead in a uniform motion from one temple to the other.
4. Release the "Power/Measurement" button. The end of the measurement is signaled by a short beep and the measured value is displayed on the backlit display for 5 seconds.
5. Read the recorded temperature on the LCD display.
6. If no buttons are pressed for 1 minute: the device flashes for 2 seconds and then switches off.
7. If the temperature reading is below 38°C, a smiley face will appear next to the reading. If the reading is 38°C or above, a “Sad Face” will appear.
NOTE:
Attempts to take temperature from any body part other than the forehead may produce inaccurate results.
The patient must remain still while the reading is being taken.
Infrared forehead temperature readings are equivalent to oral temperature readings. In all these cases, consult your doctor.
Readings taken during sleep should not be directly compared to readings taken while awake, as the body temperature is usually lower during sleep.
Avoid taking temperature measurements within 30 minutes of physical activity, bathing or swimming, or upon returning from outdoors.
This thermometer can be used by children only under the supervision of an adult.
Using the thermometer on several people may be inappropriate in the case of some acute infectious diseases, due to the possible transmission of germs and bacteria that may occur despite cleaning and disinfecting the device. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Warnings
1. Do not disassemble, repair or reassemble the thermometer.
2. Be sure to clean the thermometer lens after each use.
3. Avoid direct contact of the fingers with the measurement sensor.
4. No modifications to the appliance are permitted.
5. It is recommended to take 3 temperature readings. If they do not match, use the highest reading.
6. Do not expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures, very high humidity or direct sunlight.
7. Avoid strong impacts or dropping the appliance.
8. Before each measurement, both the patient and the thermometer must remain in stable environmental conditions, in the same room, for at least 30 minutes.
9. Avoid taking temperature measurements within 30 minutes of physical activity, bathing or swimming, or upon returning from outdoors.
10. To protect the environment, we recommend that you dispose of used batteries at appropriate collection sites in compliance with national or local regulations.
11. It is not recommended to disassemble the thermometer.
12. Use the thermometer only for its intended purpose.
13. Hold the appliance carefully when in use to avoid it from falling.
14. Wait at least one minute between measurements. Repeated measurements may cause incorrect temperature readings. Otherwise use the average of the measurements.
15. There is no absolute body temperature value. Keep reliable records of your body temperature as a reference for judging and determining fever status.
16. Under any circumstances, the result provided by this thermometer should be considered as a reference ONLY. Before undertaking any therapy or medical action, consult your doctor.
17. It is recommended to calibrate the device every 1 year.
18. WARNING - Keep this appliance away from pets, vermin and children.
19. CAUTION - Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same type recommended by the manufacturer, dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
